About IFRA-Nigeria Resource Centre
IFRA-Nigeria Resource Centre aims at providing support, equipment, training and access to relevant materials to students and researchers in social sciences and the humanities.
It makes available:
- academic literature on Nigeria and West Africa accessible on an online catalogue
- a large number of grey-literature documents that we intend to gradually digitise
- a Digital Lab that offers access to several tools and training in Digital Humanities to scholars to enhance their research
Registration
The IFRA-Nigeria Resource Centre is open exclusively to graduate students, faculty membres and researchers associated with IFRA's projects.
For students, a letter of introduction from the supervisor or head of Department is necessary for registration, together with a valid student ID card. For lecturers and researchers, a valid professional ID card with the affiliated institution is accepted.
Users are advised to arrive early as the 12 working stations available cannot be booked in advance.
Registration is free. All categories of users are required to sign the special register each time they use the library.
